Norm is the recipient of a Congressional Leadership Award and one of CNN's "Ten National Innovators" changing lives in America. A dedicated humanitarian and Global Goodwill Ambassador, Norm is also a recognized pioneer and visionary in the field of youth innovation and empowerment. He was recognized by Industry Era as a Best Education Leader in 2021.
In 2003 he co-founded By Kids For Kids Co. with his daughter Cassidy, to create a company that empowers kids to innovate and develop critical and creative thinking skills.
Norm is an entrepreneur and inventor named on 6 U.S. patents. He has worked with Walker Digital and Sharper Image managing patents and licensing.
Laura is an operations management professional who most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for By Kids For Kids Co. (BKFK) where she spent the last 15 years. Her passion lies in developing innovative educational programs that enhance and enrich students' lives while fulfilling corporate missions and goals for clients.
Prior to BKFK, Laura spent 18 years managing onsite corporate travel operations — including at GE and Xerox for Carlson Wagonlit Travel. In addition, she spent 4 years in PR managing operations for eNewsRelease (eNR).
Director of Marketing
Minnie is a multi-channel marketing professional with over 15 years of experience managing brands and developing programs to achieve marketing goals and maximize ROI. Most recently she was the Executive Marketing Director of Weekly Reader, working in the K-12 space to put classroom newsmagazines in the hands of students and teachers.
She has worked on consumer brands like People, Sports Illustrated, TIME, and Entertainment Weekly – and across sectors including financial services, education, publishing, and beauty to build their brands. Minnie has an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
